Supported Retirement June 2017 Newsletter

Hello once again from all of us to all of you! We hope this finds you all well and enjoying the events of the spring season.

Our May was, as usual, busy. We attended the dances averaging 5-6 dancer’s each day. Our Thursday morning group began the month playing Card Bingo with Fran Soroski (many thanks Fran), we attended the Pancake Breakfast, painted beautiful flowers with Shirley Arnold (many thanks to you as well Shirley), exercised and walked with the good folks at Elphinstone Center, and of course our usual breakfast and Dollarstore shopping at Northgate Mall, in addition to bowling a couple of games.

Our June is shaping up to be active as well. Our activities include:

June 1 – breakfast at Western Pizza in Gardiner Park followed by plant shopping at the local nursery if they wish from 9:30-11:00

June 8 – a tour of Stars Ambulance at 10:00

June 15 – TBA

TUESDAY June 20 – coffee at Bev’s house, 2 Coldwell Road from 9:30 – 11:00

June 22 – Bingo at the center from 9:30 – 11:00

June 29 – Northgate Mall 9:30 – 11:00

That’s it for June! Have a great month.

For those of you asking about Sonny, I saw him recently and he seems to have settled in nicely at Sunset. He appears to be quite happy and is entertaining the staff! Lots of activities to do to keep him busy.

Spring Fling 2017

Spring Fling 2017

Dear friends,

At Inclusion Regina, formerly Regina & District Association for Community Living, we believe that everyone deserves a good life in our community.

Every year the Association hosts a major fundraising event, Spring Fling. We invite you to take a special role in Spring Fling by purchasing a table for the event, donating to the silent or live auction, making a cash donation or becoming an event sponsor.

With your support, we are making it possible for individuals with intellectual disabilities to have a significantly better life in our community. We are also helping to build a community in which everyone is valued and belongs. This makes our community richer, more welcoming and better for all of us.

Thank you so much for your consideration and support.

You are the champions of our community!

For more information about the event or on how to support us, please contact our office at or by calling us at 306 790-5680
