In October, we hosted the 3rd Annual Prairie Sexuality and Disability Conference. Bringing together self-advocates, families, educators, service providers, and community members for powerful conversations about sexuality, rights, access, and inclusion.

Every time we come together, we are honoured to sit with a group of people advocating for their own lives through honest dialogue, centred around lived experience— reminding us why we create and nurture these spaces where sexuality and disability aren’t exclusive topics.

The energy is shifting with this intentional work and we’re already planning our 2026 conference! New voices, fresh perspectives, and even more opportunities to learn, challenge assumptions, and grow as caregivers together.

2025: A Year of Impact, Compassion & Connection

As we close out another remarkable year, we reflect on all the ways compassion, courage and community shaped our journey at COR in 2025.

This year, COR continued to grow in bold and meaningful ways:

👉 We expanded and grew our support initiatives for both youth and adults.
👉 Growth of the COR Academy, expanding training across Canada and beyond.
👉Honoured with the Regina Chamber of Commerce Paragon Award for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
👉 Proudly received the Saskatchewan WCB WorkSafe Award, a testament to our deep commitment to creating safe, respectful and healthy work environments.
👉 Our accessible teepee became a gathering place for cultural ceremony, storytelling and healing.
👉 We enhanced support for caregivers, strengthening employee compensation and wellness benefits where it matters most.
👉 Showcased our community initiatives to 700+ attendees at Cultural Connections' Annual India Night Gala.
👉 Hosted our inaugural Years of Service Celebration acknowledging employee's that reached 5, 10 and 15 year milestones.

Each of these milestones reflects our collective commitment to nurturing a culture of gentleness, where relationships lead the way.
